My name is Rory Downes and I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

My aims
My fundamental aim as a psychotherapist and counsellor is to enable individuals to achieve more satisfying human relationships. This may be achieved through the healing of historic, emotional wounds or alternatively by gaining deeper insights into patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour which can lead the way to personal change and growth.

I have been successful in treating the symptoms of: low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, bereavement, loss, stress, anger management, relationship problems and abuse. In addition I am trained in the use of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is effective in treating the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Location
I see clients from my home which is in a small village between Tamworth and Lichfield in South Staffs. I am also within easy reach of Sutton Coldfield and Burton-on-Trent.
